New stock, stickers and destinations

Two great days of 'firsts'. Yesterday we received our first order of shimmering and sheening inks from Diamine - amazed how quickly they turned around the order. Today we delivered our first order  to the Netherlands, a beautiful sapphire blue TWSBI Eco and we were able to use our new Izumi Pen Company stickers on the packaging. G + F

Where did the name Izumi Pens come from?

What makes a good name for a new company? There were many ideas that came and went..some good, some definitely not so good.

The name Izumi is Japanese and means fountain or spring. The word fountain is of course very important to us as we sell fountain pens - Izumi Pens...fountain pens. (See what we did there.....)
